The Elvex Molded Arc Shield FS-20ARC10 has a rating of 12 cal/cm² with a chain protector! Delivers wraparound protection and .075 inches in thickness for Risk Category 2 applications. Arc Rating (ATPV): is 12 cal/cm² withstands thermal energy release during ASTM 2178-08. ANSI standard requires users to wear safety glasses under face shields.Note: NFPA 70E requires users to wear a safety cap, NFPA 70E rated balaclava, safety glasses and ear plugs with an Arc face shield. The FS-20ARC10 fits with Elvex visor brackets and with slot adaptors it can be mounted on most slotted safety helmets.
