The Steel Grip Electrical Arc Hood with Cooling System is compliant clothing used by workers exposed to potential hazards such as high voltage electrical circuits or switch panels. This dark blue hood is constructed of multiple layers of NOMEX IIIA and unwoven KEVLAR with an ARC rating of 40 cal/cm2. The hood features a replaceable tinted lens with an anti-fog coating and a dielectric hard cap installed that meets ANSI Z87.1. Also included is an air cooling system that provides comfort in hot weather.
