The 3M® 2097 Particulate Filter is a P100-rated respiratory filter with nuisance level organic vapor relief, sold in pairs (2 per package). Designed for use with 3M™ 5000, 6000, and 7000 Series half and full facepiece respirators, it delivers at least 99.97% filter efficiency and is NIOSH approved (42 CFR 84) for environments containing oil and non-oil based particulate hazards.
Assigned the NIOSH magenta color code for P100 classification, this filter is effective for concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepieces, or 50 times PEL with quantitatively fit-tested full facepieces.
