3M™ E-A-R™ Pistonz™ Earplugs P1401, style 3MP1401, are disposable corded earplugs with soft polyurethane foam tips and a push-to-fit stem design. They are shaped for a universal fit and suit industrial users who need hearing protection in dirty-hand environments where roll-down foam plugs are less practical.

These earplugs carry a Noise Reduction Rating of 29 dB and help protect workers in high-noise tasks such as machine operation, grinding, welding, blasting, and demolition. The stem is stiff enough for insertion, yet it is designed to flex sideways if it is impacted during wear.

  • Push-to-fit construction helps keep the foam tips cleaner during insertion when hands or gloves are soiled
  • Corded design reduces loss and allows convenient around-the-neck storage between uses
