Product Details
The Magid® CX55 is a flame-resistant base layer pant constructed from CarbonX® DJ-77 single-layer interlock knit fabric, weighing 7.7 oz. per square yard. Designed as an ultimate base layer bottom, it provides NFPA 70E CAT 2 compliant protection for workers in industrial, electrical, welding, and other hazardous environments.
The CX55 carries an Arc Rating (ATPV) of 12.3 cal/cm² and a TPP rating of 14.7, delivering reliable thermal protection against arc flash, flame exposure, and molten metal splash as a foundational garment layer.
- CarbonX® DJ-77 Fabric: Patented blend of high-performance fibers that will not ignite, burn, char, shrink, or significantly decompose when exposed to intense flame, molten metal, arc flash, or high heat
- Arc Flash Protection: Arc Rating (ATPV) of 12.3 cal/cm² and TPP rating of 14.7 meet NFPA 70E CAT 2 compliance requirements
- Lightweight Construction: 7.7 oz. single-layer interlock knit construction keeps the garment lightweight and comfortable for all-day wear as a base layer
