Have you performed any tests on the PIP Novax 155-3-16 Class 3 glove to determine its Arc Rating capabilities, and at which cal/cm2 it will begin to melt? There are a lot of concerns with the crews about the glove potentially melting to them if exposed to an arc flash event.
Hello, No, there is no ATPV or calorie rating on these gloves. They are meant to protect from electrical voltage only. NFPA-70E allows for the use of rubber insulating gloves worn with leather protectors in arc flash areas where electrocution is a hazard. Thank you
