The Fibre-Metal® F4002 Quick-Lok™ Cap Adapter Kit is the hard hat side (male end) component of the Quick-Lok mounting system, engineered to attach welding helmets and face shields to protective caps. It secures to the hard cap through two included mounting screws, creating a stable connection point for welding and face protection accessories in industrial environments.
The F4002 serves as the mounting base half of the complete Quick-Lok 4000 system. It pairs with the FM4001 helmet/shield side component (female end) to form a full Quick-Lok connection, and two units are required per installation — one for each side of the hard hat.
