The Fibre-Metal® by PIP Tigerhood™ Classic 5906GY is a passive lift-front welding helmet built from thermoplastic Noryl® for high heat and spark resistance. Its smooth, seamless shell deflects sparks and spatter, making it a reliable choice for welders working in fabrication, maintenance, and industrial environments that require a consistent fixed shade.
This helmet meets ANSI Z87.1 and CSA Z94.3 standards and features a design combining straight and curved front geometry for extended throat protection while allowing air circulation to help clear smoke and fumes. It accommodates glasses and respirators, and it ships with a Speedy Mounting Kit for compatibility with standard hard caps.
