Product Details
The Magid® D-ROC® GPD249 is a 13-gauge seamless machine-knit work glove built for jobs demanding simultaneous cut resistance and high contact heat protection. Its aramid blend shell is inherently heat-resistant, while a NitriX® Grip Technology nitrile palm coating with nitrile dots delivers a secure hold in oily, wet, or dry conditions. Rated ANSI/ISEA 105-2016 Cut Level A2, this glove is well-suited for manufacturing, demolding, forming, and handling hot parts.
ANSI/ISEA 105-2016 performance ratings include ANSI Level A2 Cut Resistance, ANSI Level 4 Puncture Resistance, ANSI Level 4 Abrasion Resistance, and ASTM F1060-18 Level 5 contact heat protection, allowing short-duration handling of materials up to 319°C (606°F).
- 13-gauge aramid blend shell delivers fine dexterity while providing inherent, continuous heat resistance throughout the glove body
- Brushed acrylic lining enhances thermal insulation, reducing heat transfer to the hand during contact with hot surfaces
- NitriX® Grip Technology palm coating delivers rock-solid grip in oily applications, enhanced abrasion resistance, and increased wear life
- Nitrile dots on the heart-shaped palm zone increase surface contact area to further strengthen grip and boost heat resistance at the palm
- Nitrile-reinforced thumb saddle enhances durability at the critical thumb crotch wear point, extending overall service life
- Shield graphic is color-coded by cut level - light blue for ANSI Cut A2 - to easily identify cut protection from a distance
- Color-coded elasticized overcast cuff serves as a visual sizing aid and prevents fraying at the wrist finish
- Machine washable in warm water up to 104°F (40°C); tumble dry on low for longer service life
- Ideal for handling hot piping or ceramic molds, demolding and forming operations, and applications involving hot oily parts
