The Magid® Gemstone® Y85 Impact & Fire-Resistant Foam Lined Safety Spectacles are dual-vent protective eyewear engineered for demanding industrial environments. Constructed with impact-resistant polycarbonate lenses in a matte black nylon frame, the Y85 features a removable flame-resistant (FR) red carrier with black foam lining that converts the spectacle between direct vent and indirect vent configurations as needed.
Styles Y85BRAFC and Y85BRAFGY are certified to the ANSI Z87.1-2010 High Impact Standard, making them well-suited for assembly, construction, machine operation, painting, sanding, and other applications requiring reliable impact-resistant eye protection in dusty or dirty environments.
Dual vent system: Without the foam carrier, the Y85 functions as a direct vent spectacle; with the foam carrier installed, it becomes an indirect vent spectacle, providing splash and particulate protection.
