The Magid® SparkGuard™ 18023 is a 23-inch flame-resistant arm sleeve constructed from heavy-duty 9 oz. 100% flame-resistant cotton. Designed in green for easy visual identification, these sleeves are built for workers in welding, metal fabrication, foundry operations, and other environments with exposure to sparks and open flame.
Flame resistance is inherent to the cotton fiber construction - not a surface-applied coating - ensuring protection is maintained through repeated industrial launderings. Meets ASTM D6413 for Flame Resistance of Textiles.
- 9 oz. 100% Flame-Resistant Cotton Construction: Inherent FR properties mean the fabric will not ignite, melt, or drip when exposed to sparks or flames, delivering consistent protection wash after wash.
- ASTM D6413 Certified: Independently tested and certified for flame resistance of textiles, supporting OSHA compliance programs and safety auditing requirements.
- 23-Inch Full-Arm Coverage: Extended 23" length provides substantial protection from wrist to upper arm, covering more surface area in high-risk spark and slag environments.
- Elastic Cuffing at Both Ends: Narrow elastic at both the wrist and upper arm keeps the sleeve securely positioned during active use, preventing slippage on the job.
- Launderable for Long Service Life: FR protection is built into the fiber - not a finish - so it withstands repeated industrial laundering without degradation, improving cost-per-use over time.
