Product Details
The Magid® SparkGuard™ WC1 is a flame resistant welder's beanie constructed from 9 oz. 100% cotton sateen with an FR finish, designed for welders, maintenance engineers, electrical contractors, and metal fabrication workers requiring reliable head protection. The snug-fitting, pull-on cap measures 8-1/2" in diameter and is built to sit securely on top of the head during demanding industrial tasks.
The WC1 meets ASTM D6413 for flame resistance of textiles and is suitable for applications in oil, gas, utility, and steel industry environments where spark and heat exposure are ongoing hazards.
- 9 oz. 100% cotton sateen construction delivers a lightweight, comfortable fit throughout extended wear
- FR finish provides reliable protection against sparks, high heat, and flame exposure
- Snug-fitting, pull-on design fits securely on top of the head without adjustment hardware
- 8-1/2" diameter cap can be worn comfortably under welding helmets and hard hats

- Machine launderable up to 165°F (74°C) using detergent only or dry cleaning - do not use chlorine bleach, hydrogen peroxide, or fabric softeners
