The Magid® HPT385 is a 6 oz. FR knit balaclava hood constructed from Para-Tek™ FR material - a proprietary triple-blend of high-tenacity para-aramid, FR Lenzing, and high-tenacity nylon. Designed for electrical workers and industrial personnel facing arc flash and flame hazards, this hood delivers reliable head and neck protection in a lightweight, breathable package.
The HPT385 meets NFPA 70E requirements for PPE Category 3, making it well-suited for high-risk arc flash environments where substantial incident energy exposure is a concern.
