The Magid® SparkGuard® 2830 is a heavyweight flame resistant jacket constructed from 12 oz. 100% cotton sateen with a durable FR finish. Designed for professional welders, fabricators, and industrial workers, this 30" green jacket delivers reliable protection against sparks, spatter, and radiant heat in demanding environments.
The SparkGuard 2830 meets the ASTM D6413 safety standard, making it a code-compliant choice for welding, metal fabrication, oil and gas operations, electrical contracting, maintenance engineering, and the steel industry.
- 12 oz. 100% cotton sateen construction provides a heavyweight, durable barrier against heavy spatter, sparks, and radiant heat while remaining more breathable than leather alternatives during extended shifts
- FR finish maintains ASTM D6413-certified flame resistance through 50 industrial washings, ensuring long-term protection over the full service life of the garment
- Leather-reinforced, non-reflective metal snap closures on the front placket and wrists offer rugged, durable fastening built to withstand professional use
