Product Details

The Moldex® Meteors® M6870 is an uncorded disposable foam earplug built for demanding, high-noise industrial applications. Made from 100% PVC-free polyurethane foam with a soft, slow-recovery formulation, the Meteors earplug achieves an independently tested Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 33 dB when used as directed.

The Meteors earplug meets ANSI S3.19-1974 for hearing protector performance measurement and carries SAI Global approval. It is manufactured in the USA by Moldex-Metric, Inc., making it a reliable choice for construction, manufacturing, and other high-noise industrial environments.

  • Innovative undercut contoured shape follows the natural curves of the ear canal, reducing pressure at the narrowest point for all-day wearing comfort
  • Independently tested and verified by Michael & Associates Laboratory, a fully accredited testing facility
  • Meets AS/NZS 1270:2002 Acoustics: Hearing Protectors; Class 4 rated with an SLC80 of 23 dB for Australian and New Zealand compliance
  • Bright green color enables easy visual confirmation of hearing protection use on the job site
