Product Details

The Moldex® Meteors® M6970 is a corded, disposable foam earplug constructed from 100% PVC-free polyurethane foam, designed for reliable all-day hearing protection in high-noise industrial environments. Its soft, slow-recovery foam and unique contoured shape mold easily to the ear canal for comfortable wear from first insertion to end of shift.

The M6970 achieves an NRR of 33 dB — the highest independently tested noise reduction rating available — verified under ANSI S3.19-1974 standards, and it carries a CSA Class AL rating for broad occupational noise compliance.

  • Meteors® innovative undercut design locks the earplug in position to prevent slippage during active movement
  • Contoured profile follows the natural shape of the ear canal, reducing pressure at the plug's smallest diameter for minimized canal irritation
  • Large base provides a positive grip for achieving proper insertion depth and easy removal at the end of a shift
  • Bright green color serves as a recognizable on-site symbol of Moldex quality and allows quick visual identification in the field
