The OccuNomix® M1079 is a flame-resistant watch cap constructed from 8.75 oz 100% Nomex® rib knit fabric. Engineered for electrical workers and industrial personnel facing arc flash and thermal hazards, it delivers reliable head protection during cold-weather operations where flame-resistant headwear is required.
The M1079 meets ASTM F1506 and complies with NFPA 70E Category 1 (HRC 2) requirements, with an Arc Thermal Performance Value (ATPV) of 7.8 cal/cm². Because FR protection is inherent to the Nomex fiber, it will not wash out or diminish over the entire service life of the garment.
