The OccuNomix TN5-INFR Flame Resistant Tie Hat Doo Rag considers the needs of welders and other professionals exposed to high temperatures on the job. Each doo rag starts with 6 oz. cotton given a flame-resistant treatment. This combinationCotton provides a degree of breathability, helping manage and control perspiration. Once this flame-resistantFR doo rag is secured around the crown of the head, it absorbs and evaporates sweat, reducing accumulation in the process. The streamlined, low-profile design can be worn as a head covering alone or below a helmet or hard hat and remains comfortable through extended wear. The tied design provides a closer, more secure, and customizable fit compared to a baseball cap, including over the ears. The flame-resistant material suits applications and environments where you’ll come in contact with heat, particularly welding. In these instances, the doo rag provides protection from direct contact with high temperatures, as well as any splatter. Even through multiple washes, the material retains its properties.
