DRINK IN THE HEAT

Workers con lose up to two gallons of fluid a day, causing fatigue and contributing to any number of heat illnesses that result in reduced productivity and lost time.

When left to the workers' discretion, most will drink less than required because thirst drive alone is not adequate to replace the fluids and electrolytes lost.

For this reason, many companies hove turned to electrolyte replacement beverages, such as Gatorade and Sqwincher, and tablets, like Medi·lyte, to aid workers during times when high heat and heavy exertion could put them in danger of dehydration.

Use this chart to help-determine when to provide Sqwincher, Gatorade or Medi-lyte for employees to help them drink in the benefits of a safety measure that is highly effective and very easy 10 swallow!

HOW TO USE:
1 . Locate predicted high temperature across top axis - locate predicted relative humidity along side axis.
2 . Intersect two readings to find the Apparent Temperature or "What it feels like" .
