The Magid® T-REX® Inferno Series® TRX878 is a flame resistant split leather impact welder glove engineered for high-heat, high-hazard industrial environments. Built on an FR split cow grain leather shell with a cotton/poly knit liner and high-melting-point TPR impact protection, this glove delivers layered defense against heat, open flame, cuts, and mechanical impact for welders, fabricators, and heavy-industry workers.
Certified to ANSI/ISEA 105 Cut Level A7, ANSI/ISEA 138 Impact Level 2, and EN 407 Limited Flame Spread Level 4, the TRX878 meets rigorous performance standards across multiple hazard categories, making it well-suited for the most demanding jobsite conditions.
- FR split cow grain leather shell provides durability, dexterity, and ANSI Level 5 abrasion resistance for handling metal components and welding equipment
- FR M-Force Defense System™ back-of-hand protection deflects and absorbs impacts while maintaining flame resistance, with high-melting-point TPR tested to 896°F/480°C
- Para-aramid stitching reinforces glove construction while maintaining flame and heat resistance for long-term durability in demanding environments
- Gunn cut pattern with wing thumb and reinforced pinky and thumb improves fit and extends service life in high-wear zones
- Extended 6" cuff provides additional wrist and forearm protection against sparks, heat, and debris during welding and fabrication tasks
- ANSI Level A7 Cut Resistance, ANSI Level 5 Abrasion Resistance, and ANSI Level 5 Puncture Resistance per ANSI/ISEA 105
- ANSI/ISEA 138 Impact Level 2 protection on knuckles and fingers for certified impact defense
- EN 407 Limited Flame Spread Level 4 meets European standards for thermal and fire hazard protection
