Standard glove coatings can’t give them the best performance if the environments they encounter vary widely enough. A glove coating that’s effective in a dry environment may not be effective for gripping oily parts. A coating that provides solid oil grip may not provide tactile sensitivity. A glove that stands up well in a slick environment may degrade after repeated use on abrasive materials. VersaTek Grip

VersaTek is infused with special stabilizers to enhance grip performance. The coating is designed to read the work environment, adapt to it, and adjust its superior grip for objects that are wet or dry, slick or rough, heavy or light. VersaTek Dexterity

VersaTek won’t impede your workers’ ability to comfortably do their jobs. Its engineered dexterity allows the glove to flex with your workers’ natural hand movements, keeping them comfortable and less prone to hand fatigue.

VersaTek Durability

When put through rigorous abrasion tests, VersaTek achieved 50 percent more abrasion resistance than other common glove coatings like sandy nitrile and even foam nitrile, giving your workers stronger protection for longer periods of time. In these abrasion tests, a sample of the coated glove palm is placed on a rotating disc to undergo constant friction from two rotating, weighted wheels. Even the toughest palm coatings tend to last between 3,000 and 19,000 rotations, putting them at ANSI Abrasion levels 4 or 5. VersaTek’s sample lasted over 30,000 revolutions, consistently scoring well above the minimum for ANSI Abrasion Level 6!
