Give Workers PPE Ownership
For each application, I narrow down a handful of products that meet our safety needs. Then I let each worker pick which item they like best. That way, if they aren’t wearing it, I can ask, “Why aren’t you wearing that glove you picked out!?” It gives the worker a feeling of ownership and makes them more likely to comply since it wasn’t forced on them.
