Take 5 For Safety
We have a checklist of hazards that all our workers carry with them. Everyone knows that they’re free to take a break at any time to step back, rest, and take five minutes to check that safety protocols are being followed. Our Foreman and other managers have something similar, but it’s Take 5 to Observe. Same concept, but they’re encouraged to take time out to make sure their people are working safely.
