I encourage my workers to come forward with ideas to make our plants safer. If they come up with a good idea for a safety improvement or identify a safety issue, I publish before and after pictures in our newsletter. I tell the story and give the worker credit. It’s a nice way to encourage and recognize people for being safe and smart.
