My workers complained that restrictive liners they had to wear under their gloves were uncomfortable and made their gloves fit badly. I saw a compliance issue and knew we needed to find a new glove. I implemented a policy allowing workers to test samples of all new gloves under consideration for use in the plant. Engaging the workers in the process made it easy to implement new gloves across the manufacturing floor. As a result of the wear testing program, cuts dropped by a dramatic 85%!
