How PPE Kits Save Time
We were in the process of hiring over 200 new workers. Normally, new people line up at the tool crib to get the PPE they need to start training, but a line of 200+ workers was going to cause a major delay. Instead, since most of the workers were welders, I worked with my supplier to find an FR duffle bag and had them fill it with everything our new workers would need. Now when we have a lot of new people starting, we simply order the complete New Hire Kits ahead of time so workers spend their time in training instead of standing in line.
